Kiteboarding Lines

We are manufacturers of kiteboarding line sets, we work only with the best line on the market: Q-powerline & Q-line Plus.
We specialize in sets of any length, from 5m to 27m. We can do any lenght, and we can do custom branding for you.
All our sets are 4 line sets, but if you are interested in 5 line sets, we can manufacture them as well.
If you want to do a special branding on line sets we can do that for you.

Below is an explanation on the differences between both lines, Qpowerline and Qline Plus.

Kiteboarding Lines Specification

Q-Line Plus

Q-Line Plus is a very high quality braided line. Specifically designed for the cost conscious KiteBoarder that prefers to use a braided line. Although not as long lasting as Q-PowerLine, this is the best braided line on the market and will out perform and outlast the traditional braided lines supplied by the kite manufacturers. This line is manufactured to exacting tolerances on our precision 8 carrier braiding machines with a braid angle optimized for the best combination of strength and tangle resistance possible for a braided line. Manufactured from pure Spectra fibres, Q-Line Plus is put through an 8 stage precision stretching process at our factory, that repeatedly brings the line close to it’s breaking point. This ensures that the line has been evenly pre-stretched for maximum performance and minimum line adjustment.

The tight braid ensures a minimum line diameter for reduced drag and the maximum possible resistance to dirt pickup. The high braid angle ensures that the line has the maximum acceptable modulus for minimal tangling.

The last step in maximizing the line performance is to topcoat the line with our proprietary polyurethane coating, sealing the line against dirt and water, increasing abrasion resistance to maximize line life and minimizing any color transfer from the line. The polyurethane coating also prevents the braid from relaxing like normal line when tension is removed, further increasing the lines resistance to picking up dirt, so there is no wear problem caused by dirt trapped in the braid.

Available in White, Hi-Vis Yellow, Hi-Vis Orange, Blue and Red for line color-coding.

Q-Powerline

Q-PowerLine represents over 10 years of research and development to engineer the ultimate line specifically for High Powered Kite applications.
The unique cored construction utilizes continuous linear strands of very high tenacity Spectra® fiber encased in an extremely tightly braided Spectra sheath.
The resulting line exhibits the ideal characteristics for all kiting applications:
* almost zero stretch means minimal length adjustments and incredible kite "feel" when flying
* no sleeving required makes it easy to produce your own custom sets or adjust your current lines
* self-lubrication ensures minimal friction during line wraps
* a round cross-section minimizes parasitic wind-drag increasing both the kites forward speed and response to pilot input
* an extremely tight external braid prevents dirt from entering the braid greatly extending the life of the lines
* a higher modulus (stiffness) than traditional lines almost totally eliminates any tendency for the line to tangle
* specialized double coloration/coating process for vivid colors that do not easily transfer or rub off proprietary coating technology allows us to produce
hi-visibility safety lines in fluorescent yellow and orange with even coatings that resist the tendency to fade and rub off.

Q-PowerLine typically outlasts normal braided lines at least five times, and more importantly the superior quality of this line almost eliminates the line failures that strand flyers.

Nobody likes to waste their play time, swimming or walking back and/or fixing and untangling lines.

How to connect kiteboarding lines!

1- Make a loop on one end of a line.

2- Present the end with the loop against the other line end you want to connect.

3- Put the straight end through the loop just made.

4- Close the loop, pulling back from the line.

5- Pull from both lines to make sure the connection is tight. You are ready to go!
